Later mustard oil is applied to the bodies of the bride and the groom. The turmeric paste is then applied by the friends and family invited for the ceremony. The friends and family enjoy it by applying the paste on each other as well. They apply it with great fun and joy. The ceremony turns out to be a fun and joyful one as everybody is in the mood of fun, joy, and celebration. The friends of the bride and groom enjoy dancing and singing various songs. It is believed that Haldi paste is applied to the bride and groom so that they can look their best on the most precious day of their life, at their wedding. The friends might play some games with the bride and groom to enjoy the ceremony and make it a memorable event for the individual. In some of the rituals, it is also believed that after this ceremony the bride and groom are not allowed to meet each other until the day of the wedding. Later the ceremony sums up with a meal for the guests of the function.
